RULES AND REGULATION


  1. Participants must read the Notice, Terms and Conditions and Race Rules carefully before entering the race.
  2. Participants must check their health with a doctor if they have any doubts about their health before entering the race.
  3. The Terms and Conditions and Race Rules are designed to create and direct a large-scale race, ensuring the safety of all participants and stakeholders.
  4. All registration fees are non-refundable and the Organizer reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone who provides false information, does not make proper payments or fails to meet the race requirements.

  2. If the Participant does not receive the Receipt 5 (five) days after registration, please contact us.
  3. Participants must fill in the registration data with accurate information (including date of birth). Participant's participation may be canceled if the information provided to the Organizer is not accurate.Incorrect information will also result in the cancellation of the race results and awarding of prizes.
  4. Participants who have registered must collect the BIB number that has been installed with the timing chip and souvenirs (Race Pack) at the designated place by showing mandatory gears, receipt and identity card (as stated in the Receipt).
    Collection of Race Pack by other parties appointed to represent the participant must carry a power of attorney signed by the owner.

  1. Dieng Caldera Race participants must be 17 years of age or older on race day. Specifically for 50K and 80 K participants must be 17 years of age or older. Participants under the required age on the day of the race must submit a parental permission letter.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the age of participants before, during and after the race. Exceptions to this can only be made based on the approval of the Organizer.
  3. Participants must bring a health certificate made between June 5 and June 8, 2024 as a condition of participating in the race.
  4. Participants must show Mandatory Gears when collecting RPC or race packages as a condition of participating in the race.
  5. The organizer has the right to disqualify participants who do not meet the requirements of the race.
  6. The organizer has the right to close registration if the entire quota of participants has been filled in full for both early bird and normal price.
  7. Registration will be processed after registration payment is completed.
  8. Participants who take part in the race are participants who have registered via https//:diengcalderarace.com. The transfer and / or practice of buying and selling race registrations is not permitted without confirmation or approval from the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to cancel race registration if any indication of transfer and/or sale of registration is found.
  9. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  10. The organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse registration without reason.
  11. The organizer reserves the right to refuse registration if the registrant provides incorrect information, does not make payment or fails to meet the requirements specified in the registration form.
  12. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the race in the event of conditions beyond the Organizer's control, such as acts of God, heavy rain, lightning, epidemic, riot or any condition which in the opinion of the Organizer endangers the participants.
  13. If the race is cancelled for reasons beyond the Organizer's control, as mentioned in Article 9 above, the Organizer will not refund the registration fee received and the Organizer shall not have any responsibility or liability for the same.
  14. Trail running is not a risk-free sport and therefore each runner must ensure that his/her health condition is fit before and during participation in the race. Each runner is responsible for his/her own health condition and by participating in the race, the runner is deemed to have understood the risks of the race.
  15. The Organizer shall not be liable for any injury or death arising during or after the race sustained by any participant who does not meet the above conditions, unless such injury or death is the result of gross negligence on the part of the Organizer.
  16. The Organizer reserves the right not to permit or disqualify any participant who is known or suspected to be unfit to participate in the race. The Organizer is not obliged to refund the registration fee in such case.

  1. The race is open to men and women aged 18 years or older on the day of the race, who are in good health.
  2. 85 KM Category: Participants must have completed a trail race with a minimum distance of 42 KM.
  3. 25 & 45 KM categories: Participants must have completed a trail race with a minimum distance of 15 KM and 25 KM.
  4. 10 KM category: No qualification is required, but note that the Detrac Trail Series has a challenging route, runners MUST prepare themselves physically and psychologically, and are strongly advised to read further the race conditions.
  5. The organizer has the exclusive right to approve/reject registrations, including the right to grant dispensation (with careful consideration) for those who do not meet the qualification criteria.

  1. Each participant must run according to the route determined by the organizer.
  2. Any participant who disobeys the directions, orders or instructions of a race official, security officer or marshal (collectively "Officials"), or any participant who commits an unsportsmanlike act, or is offended by the actions or remarks of an Official, participant-participant or spectator may be disqualified from the race by the Officials.
  3. Any participant found by the Officials or control equipment to have an unfair advantage by shortening the race route ("cutting the course") will be disqualified from the race.
  4. Medical assistance by an official race medical officer is not considered assistance that will result in the participant being disqualified from the race. If a competitor is unwell during or after the race and/or receives medical attention from a race official, the competitor must provide detailed health information to the Organizer or a person authorized by the Organizer.

  1. All participants will receive a BIB with a timing chip installed.
  2. Participants are required to wear the BIB in accordance with the instructions set by the Organizer.
  3. Gun time is the time used to determine the main prize.
  4. Time records for general participants will be determined by the timing chip device (net time) from the time the participant crosses the starting line until the participant crosses the finishing line.
  5. Participants are required to always wear a BIB that has a timekeeping chip installed correctly according to the provisions of the organizer from the start line to cross the finish line.
  6. Participants who use more than one BIB will be disqualified and their time will not be recorded.
  7. Participants who lose their BIB and timing chip will be disqualified.

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, add or waive the race conditions.
  2. Participants will be bound by any changes to the conditions set by the Organizer.
  3. Failure to comply with the conditions, and any changes thereto, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes and times.

Participants hereby waive, release, declare that they will not sue the Organizer and will release the Organizer and all parties related to the Organizer for any responsibility, claim, action, or loss that may arise or be related to the Participant's registration or participation in the Dieng Caldera Race 2024 event.

All objections must be made in writing and submitted to the course director, with a guarantee of IDR 1,000,000 (non-refundable if the objection is deemed invalid), within two hours of the runner arriving at the arrival point.
